40-Question Meme

13 Dec

I’m not exactly sure how I got there, but I found the meme on this blog: http://sillydreamer.wordpress.com/2009/03/14/a-40-question-meme/ ^^ lalala…

1. My uncle once:  explained how sitting in a booth at a fast-food place could cause a pregnant lady’s baby to shoot out of her mouth as a kind of joke and made my friends cry from laughing so hard.

2. Never in my life: have I skydived

3.When I was five: I got confused a lot. 😀 Well, I still get confused, but it was worse back then. XD

4.High School was: is…strange?

5.I will never forget: Some people in my first grade class and summer school..camp at school.. for some reason. Chantel who was very sweet and who I idealized even though her best friend Kiara seemed like the devil, Mrs. Lindenaur the really tall teacher’s aid who had brown hair, Mrs. Conklin who was pregnant, Muhammad who was really funny, Lauren or Laura I think was her name who was pretty and knew some grown up things and who I thought was strange but surprisingly nice and sympathetic to me when I needed it, Catrina who had green corduroy overalls pigtails and cried a looooot but was good with babies and thought my sister was cute (bleeeh), Evelyn who was tall and perfect and nice and cried when the evil substitute got angry and made her take a red card because she asked for help (no talking) which led to Mrs. Conklin being convinced that she was evil and letting everyone start over, Patricia who went to El Salvador for vacation and Linda who I idealized after I moved and was convinced they were my best friends, this one boy who was the class clown and always had his card flipped but the teacher couldn’t help laughing at his jokes sometimes, Gabriella who was nice and popular and gave me hugs a lot, and Evelyn’s… sidekick…who I don’t remember but I was shocked at her ability to draw clowns and bows. Yup….I remember these two asian girl twins too with bob cuts who I was fascinated by. We went to this tube thing at the playground with another girl and they got mad at each other cause they wanted to tell the story. It was interesting. And another girl who was also asian I met at the laundromat who I played with and told me her name was Cheeseburger. I believed her. I think maybe she wasn’t supposed to tell her name. I played pin ball there. And at one point they put a small house for kids to play in at the corner, which psyched my brains out. I brought my cinderella coloring book and I remember one page that I was too scared to color because I didn’t want to wreck it. This girl wanted to color with me, and she saw the page and asked  to color it. I asked her if she was good and she said yes! and I happily let her. She didn’t color in the lines and used strange colors. =_=;; I told her it was great.

6.I once met: a lady who played Cinderella at a play.

7. There’s this girl I know who: calls me idiot all the time. If she hadn’t I don’t think I’d have been comfortable around her and now we’re friends. ^^

8. Once, at a bar: hah.

9. By noon, I’m usually: confused. Or depressedish cause the day will be normal.

10. Last night: I watched Judas (movie) and became convinced that “Robert Powell” and “Ian McShane” portrayed Jesus and Judas the best. I also blame Ian McShane for the sympathy I’ve developed for Judas and other villains from the time I was a kid. I’m not kidding. I was outraged that Jesus was cold to him in the movie and felt really sad for Judas, and angry at heroes who are cruel towards apologizing villains. =_= I think I felt bad for Hades in Hercules at one point. A couple others too. *sigh* I’m still sad for Judas, but I know it’s only cause of his potrayal in that movie. Why? BECAUSE OF THIS LINK: http://www.flickr.com/photos/mcshanebest/2522128188/

PATHOS! THAT WORD!! “McShane brought a sympathetic sense of pathos to his portrayal of Judas in the Franco Zeffirelli-directed bio of the life of Jesus Christ. ” It was done on PURPOSE! If you click the link you will see a rant-comment that was obviously not from me.

11. If only I had: a place where I could run and play tennis..with a net. And people to play tennis with that don’t make excuses like ‘nyeeh I have a headache’ or ‘nyeeeh I have the flu.’ (XDD)

12. Next time I go to church: it better be Christmas. This has gone on long enough.

13. Terry Schiavo: will not be googled.

14. What worries me most: I won’t get serious and take control of my life and be happy with myself.

15. When I turn my head left, I see: closed blinds, my faint shadow, and the white wall. Symbolism?! XD

16. When I turn my head right, I see: Chair, kitchen, dining room, living room, tv with blue DVD screen, microwave, light, and the dust on the wall and ceiling cause of the semi-explosion I caused. [sudden shock and realization not related to symbolism).

17. You know I’m lying when: I don’t know….o_o;;

18. What I miss most about the eighties: hehehe….

19. If I was a character in Shakespeare, I’d be: someone who goes insane. I’d say Hamlet, but his situation is weird, and I’m supposed to read through Act5 now. Hmmm…Ophelia? Nah, she was in love, and her insanity doesn’t scare her I think.

20. By this time next year: I hope I’ll be enjoying life and be responsible.

21. A better name for me would be: Psycho-pants. I think my name is fine..? People even attach an -ish to it when describing something or explaining why it fits me. Which is kind of annoying sometimes that my essence can’t be described in REAL WORDS. I need something better people! AAAAUGH! *failwithrepeatedmistakeandbackspace=_=* It was kinda nice at first but now it doesn’t help and it makes me feel narcissistic when I mention it. I mean, I am, but still.

22. I have a hard time understanding: how people get motivated and pumped up so easily without getting down when they question things. But I question the wrong things. =_=;; Not like controversial, just in my life I should be questioning my own habits.

23. If I ever go back to school, I’ll: hehe

24. You know I like you if: I can’t help trying to distract you while giggling like a crazy person.

25. If I ever won an award, the first person I’d thank would be: meh mumz.

26. Darwin, Mozart, Slim Pickens & Geraldine Ferraro: people I should get to know. =.= Don’t know the last two…of course.

27. Take my advice, never: let questioning things stop you from doing or whatevering the thing that you’re questioning if it’s important or not bad, especially if you’re at a deciding point in your life. And never dump water over a flaming pot of oil. I don’t know what you do, but no water. Put a lid on it or use baking soda or powder, whatever it was. Google it.

28. My ideal breakfast is: my dad’s breakfast cooking…he makes the best breakfast ever. T_T But when he’s in a good mood I think. Or a Sausage Biscuit at McDonalds. X_x I’ve always loved that. But eggs at any restaurant is disgusting. Homemade only!

29. A song I love, but do not own is: those old-fashioned songs you sometimes hear in commercials and movies. Can’t think of one…Like, ‘Build me up, Buttercup’ I guess.

30. If you visit my hometown, I suggest: You might be in two places at once. Or three, I don’t really know where my hometown is….Hm. Well, maybe. Bleh.

31. Tulips, character flaws, microchips, & track stars: Bad combo! A tulip who’s actually a human with a character flaw  has a microchip hidden in the bud (blossomed) and a group of track stars suddenly trample over it! Or past it.

32. Why won’t people: be..good. Or think rationally. At least try.

33.If you spend the night at my house: You’ll be weirded out. Or think the family is dysfunctional. Not that bad though.

34. I’d stop my wedding for: an emergency?

35. The world could do without: evil….spite..greed. Bad things?! I don’t like bugs. But birds eat them. OO! Guns and firearms and nuclear weapons! Fight with swords! >:O Or fists at least! There’s more honor in it that way! Just boom-boom, bleh. Killing of innocents has increased. Then again, not all people are skilled with weapons, so…damn. Still evil. Ok, no evil thats all.

36. I’d rather lick the belly of a cockroach than: something grosser or slimier…ew. Gosh.

37. My favorite blonde is: …do I have any blond friends, I wonder? hm….wow, I guess not. haha. Eh…don’t think I have any..Howbout that Newt guy from the show with Raven’s brother on Disney? I’m no Disney fan….or the TV network now anyway, but I saw some episodes and thought he was funny. It wasn’t ever by choice though. @_@;;

38:Â Paper clips are more useful than: cheap socks…waiiit…yes..no…Ok….Toenails! Seriously, why do they grow? What’s the purpose??

39. If I do anything well, it’s: be weird.

40. And by the way: I’m unsure about everything! XD

My dad makes AWESOME hash browns. ^^
And yes. The world COULD do without all that. :,(

    • meezletoe December 20, 2009 at 6:36 pm #

You’re reading my blog! Like consistently sorta. I just noticed. Yesss *happydance* :~DDDDD
My dad makes awesome…oatmeal (it’s not impossible!) and eggs. And lasagna with my stepmom. But the pasta doesn’t stick. XD
Yee. 🙂 It’s impossible. Life sucks. :’D (feeling angsty). I haven’t heard of a country merging with another (except the EU I guess). Eh, maybe it’s better, idk.

      • Connor December 22, 2009 at 7:58 pm #

Well if countries merged then we’d lose lots of languages. O_0
Of course I read your blog! It is HI-larious! (Mostly.)
I had an angsty/semi-depressed moment last week. I’m all better now.
You mentioning lasagna made me remember how I had pasta twice today: Spag & meatballs for lunch and then Fettuccine Alfredo (my REAL favorite food) for dinner. Mmmmmm…. *remembers taste explosion*

        • meezletoe December 24, 2009 at 1:00 am #

I thought about that. XD So I was wondering if it was worth it to lose culture in order to obtain world peace. T_T But maybe if they had some sort of patriotic-diveristy thing going on…Like WE ARE…FRANCE BUT WE HAVE 50 DIFFERENT CULTURAL AND ETHNIC GROUPS AND WE’RE PROUD OF IT! XDD
          Thank yooooooou ~♫♥ ^^
Ah yeah, I had one or two of those this week. XD
          *envies taste explosion*
          Waaaa….I love pasta (all sorts)….gimmmmeeeee…*_*
          Now I know why Olive Garden is so popular. =_=;;

          • Connor December 24, 2009 at 8:47 am #

You can’t go wrong with Italian food. If there was a hierarchy of ethnic food Italian would be king/queen. At least I think so.
And trying to get world peace by merging countries wouldn’t work either way. There would be fights as to what countries merged into which.
Like should Spain merge into France or France merge into Spain?

            • meezletoe December 24, 2009 at 11:26 am #

              Definitely -.- ♥
              I wonder who’d come after? o_o
I suppose neither side would be willing to discard their names and take up a new one for the sake of a New Word Order? o_o Or another name – liiike. How the states are still states, but they have a name as a collective places..but that’s not really what I meant..:|
Aaagh, life. I gotcha. :# I wonder if there’s a genius solution to this. Like some sort of campaign of looove 😎

              • Connor December 25, 2009 at 7:30 am #

We went to Biaggi’s (a fancy-ish Italian place) for dinner yesterday. They have this really big wine cellar. I this dish called Chicken Cannelloni (I think.) It was AWESOME. Mmmm.
I still think world peace is unobtainable. Why? Someone will always be greedy or stubborn. I mean, isn’t it greed that screwed up the world in the first place? And prejudice and envy. Urgh.
New World Order? You’re making it sound like a Socialist regime. 0_o

                • meezletoe December 25, 2009 at 10:49 am #

LOL, I know, I was thinking I sounded like those villains who are bent on world domination. BAHAHAH, now we all know what role I’d play in an action movie. I don’t really know what that phrase means though, I used it without thinking…

I’d been thinking that campaign for love thing would only work if we had a really good speaker/rhetorician who was totally legit and wrote all his stuff. Which is why I’m mostly against abortion. XDDD
But besides that I keep hearing stuff about how the ‘antichrist’ will bring temporary peace and stuff and how it’s bad (which made me wonder about how ironic that was to Christianity). So now I’m just lost. Whether I think world peace is possible depends on my mood.
                  >*drools*
I went to Olive Garden a while back and had these stuffed mushrooms. -.- I hate mushrooms but it was soo good..and eventually I just stopped eating the mushrom part XD. Yesterday I went to a Chinese-American food buffet, and there was this Miso Soup and shrimp-crabbed stuff in this fried dough looking bun. T_T I want to go back. o_o
Merry Christmas btw! XD 🙂 ♥

                • Connor December 25, 2009 at 1:17 pm #

                  Blech, seafood. DX
Basically, regardless o my mood I’m skeptical of world peace… Oh well…

                  • meezletoe December 25, 2009 at 9:49 pm #

I’ve been pretty experimental with food this year for some reason. XD; But it’s good! There was some weird stuff though.
                    I understand that. 🙂

                • Connor December 25, 2009 at 10:33 pm #

OK, I hope this reply is in the right place…
                  I got a Mac!! 😀
My philosphy when it comes to trying food: familar ingredients in a new dish will probably be good. New ingredients in a familiar dish will also probably work well. New ingredients in a new dish? Now I’m skeptical and unless I’m feeling adventurous I might avoid it. I’m a picky eater…

                  • meezletoe December 25, 2009 at 11:22 pm #

I’m definitely a picky eater as well! But for some reason Asian foods have been tasting better for me, but thats probably cause I’m eating ‘new ingredients in a familiar dish.’ ;D I like that philosophy! I’m putting that into my notes. (I have random files with quotes around on this PC.
And OMIGOSH CONGRATS!!! Is it cool!? I’m still waiting for my young destroyed laptop to get fixed. XP Not my fault, promises. So I envy you, in a friendly way! Was it a present?? Are you using it now?? X3

                • Connor December 26, 2009 at 8:23 am #

I AM using it right now. ^^ My old computer (a PC -.-) was very suckish.
You’re actually using my food philosophy!? XD
And the Mac is easier to use than the PC. It looks so clean, too – no icons clutteringup the desktop. Yep, my parents gave it to me. Mmmm…asian food. My second-favorite ethnic food.

                  • meezletoe December 28, 2009 at 2:11 pm #

One of my cousins own a mac! I used it for a while, but typing documents and drawing on it and stuff confused me @_@ I didn’t know where to go. I heard Macs are safer too, virus-wise and stuff :D. Lucky you! ^^ (Psh, of course I’m using your food philosophy, you genius, you. bahaha) Hmm, my second-favorite is rivaling my first. It’s either Eritrean or habesha food, or Asian. *thinking* I’m bout to go get some fake pasta though, so who am I kidding. What category would Jalepino Poppers and fried chicken fall under, I wonder. XDD

  2. helenpaige1 December 16, 2009 at 5:46 pm #

Hey, I just started reading your blog and I love it! I like the randomness about it lol.

    • meezletoe December 20, 2009 at 6:28 pm #

      Thanks!! 😀
hmmm…I thought about it and…when Cheeseburger told me her name was Cheeseburger, it might’ve been a joke. But I got kind of excited about it and asked her why her parents named her that. So maybe she just went with it..then she got kinda quiet and I changed the subject cause I thought I embarrassed her. And then she had to leave and every time I went back to the laundromat I hope she’d be there cause I wanted to be best friends. T_T Her name was that cool to me I guess. XDD

  3. ♥Mikayla♥ December 23, 2009 at 10:12 pm #

LOL, this was so funny. 😀 The Cheeseburger made me laugh, so did the paperclip, well, all of it did actually! 😀

  4. Connor December 28, 2009 at 7:18 pm #

Jalapeno peppers and fried chicken would probably be considered Cajun, I think. I really like the Mac! Except for the aforementioned login problem… It takes some getting used to, but Macs are better than PCs (I think.) I used to be a skeptic (OH NO!!!) but then my brother got a Mac and my crappy PC got glitchy and I thought “I’m done with this. I WANT A MAC!” XD
